Specops Deploy takes Group Policy based Software Deployment to the next level. It provides functionality that can be expected in a modern software deployment system such as detailed feedback, scheduling, installing without rebooting, support for non Windows Installer setups and much more. Since Specops Deploy uses Group Policy technology, additional infrastructure besides Active Directory is not required. The product does not affect the AD Schema.
