I tried to run PCP on a 2000 and 2003 server. I soon found out that it wouldn't run from the desktops, they wouldn't write back to the servers. It needs to set up on a machine that runs all the time but not a "server" in the true sense. I set up a normal PC and installed the policy server software, the machine is only used for that purpose and have had no problems since. Hope this helps.

We've also looked at the software and found it excellent. Didn't come accross this issue, perhaps you can contact the developers or distributors in your area / country?
May 2, 2005 - Policy Central Pro not loading by T Simmons, Product Rating: 4/5: We installed Policy Central Pro on a number of PCs as an administrator but can't get it to run when a user loggs on. Has anyone found an answer to this?
