BirdsEye Listing updated: May 14, 2004

BirdsEye is a system monitoring software that helps prevent downtime. BirdsEye monitors the seven vital-signs of any system, which include nine types of internal and remote network applications, system logs, network connectivity, as well as hard disk, memory and CPU usage. BirdsEye provides information on the current status of system resources, at a glance. Its color-coded “traffic-light” alerts indicate problems immediately. It also provides historic information (up to one year) including graphs about servers, workstations and network devices. The BirdsEye server can be run on any Windows2000/XP based system, and the monitored clients can be Windows, Red Hat Linux or Solaris based systems. A proactive alert system sends email alerts or SMS text messages to pagers and cell phones of key personnel. BirdsEye is developed especially for small and medium size companies.

September 16, 2004 - Good tool for monitoring system resources by IT Professional, Product Rating: 5/5
We tried BirdsEye on several Windows Servers. It provides an easy to view dashboard of system resources of all our monitored systems including system logs and network apps. It automatically finds all the devices and was up and running in a short time.
