Storix System Backup Administrator (SBA) is a Linux based Backup and Disaster Recovery application, which provides a graphical user interface for centralized management of system and data backup. The interface provides features a system administrator would expect, while also providing advanced features like backup scheduling, backup to disks or tape, tape striping, replicating disk backups to tape, generation of backup and tape labels, performance statistics and history reporting. SBA offers support for backup to local or remote disk, including SAN devices, random tape libraries and sequential autoloaders. Also available are Windows and MAC OS X Backup and Restore functions, Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), and 128/192/256 Bit Data Encryption features to conform to US and international governmental requirements. SBA was designed to perform the task of recovering a Linux system that other backup products.
