The amount of memory used by the registry footprint can be found by clicking on Start/Settings/Control Panel/System icon/Performance tab/Virtual Memory Change. You will see the amount of memory currently being consumed by your registry and you can increase the maximum allowed in the same dialog box. Experimentation with C2 settings will easily push you over this limit and you will need to increase the maximum size allowed.
