How to Use Directory Annotation with FTP Server in NT.
You can add directory descriptions to inform File Transfer Protocol (FTP) users of the contents of a particular directory on the server. A file called ~FTPSVC~.CKM can be created in the directory to be annotated with the information to be displayed to the user.: Q103077
