How do I get Creation Time of a Storage Account in Microsoft Azure?

Tip explains how you can get creation time for a Storage Account in Microsoft Azure

To get creation time of a storage account in Microsoft Azure, use Get-AzureRMStorageAccount PowerShell cmdlet and look at the “CreationTime” property.

To list all storage accounts with their “CreationTime” value, run below command:

  • Get-AzureRmStorageAccount | Select-Object StorageAccountName,CreationTime

To export output to a CSV file, add “Export-CSV” command as shown in the below command:

  •  Get-AzureRmStorageAccount | Select-Object StorageAccountName,CreationTime | Export-CSV AzureStorageAccounts.CSV
