If you are trying to delete an empty folder in Microsoft Outlook and it won't let you, here's a tip that may help. If the error message that appeared when you tried this says something about "pending synchronization" then try the following:
- Right-click on the empty folder and select Clear Offline Items.
- Accept the prompt to synchronize items.
- Now right-click on the folder and select Delete.
If this still doesn't work, try performing a manual synchronization of offline folders and then try again to delete the folder.
