To lockdown the Security tab so it will not appear when a Windows XP user opens the Properties of a file system object, you can use the following registry hack:

Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Key: Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Name: NoSecurityTab
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 1
