Stop Coloring of Tabs in Internet Explorer 8

Don't like the different tab colors? Disable Tab Grouping.

The new Tab Grouping feature in Internet Explorer 8 colors the tabs. When there’s more than one tab group, each group has its own tab color. If this gets confusing, you can easily disable tab grouping:

  1. Click Tools > Internet Options.
  2. In the Tabs section, click the Settings button.
  3. Uncheck the Enable Tab Groups option.
