Can I Decline all WSUS updates from Command Line?

Tip explains use of Deny-WsusUpdate PowerShell cmdlet.

Starting with Windows Server 2012 R2, Microsoft introduced WSUS PowerShell cmdlets. The WSUS cmdlets can be used to perform various administrative tasks from command line. One of them is to decline all updates.

To decline all updates, use below command:

  • Get-WsusUpdate -Classification All -Approval Unapproved -Status FailedOrNeeded | Deny-WsusUpdate
