DOS print commands use IRQs turned off by default in NT. If you have a need to print from older DOS programs or anything needing these IRQs:

Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Key: Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
Name: DosPrint
Type: REG_SZ
Value: yes
