Change location NT expects to find its installation files.
If you want to change where NT expects to find its install files, set:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Sourcepath
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\Sourcepath

If your CD drive is E: and you are working with an Intel-based machine, the value should be E:\I386 and E:\ respectively.
