Place IE5 History Icon on Start Menu

To place a History icon in the Start Menu
  • Right-click Start button
  • Click Open
  • Right-click in vacant area of folder where you want icon placed
  • Click New, Click Folder
  • "New Folder" label for new folder should be highlighted
  • Type following name for new folder EXACTLY (cut & paste from here is best)

    History.{FF393560-C2A7-11CF-BFF4-444553540000}

  • Press enter. New Folder icon will be replaced with History icon

To control the number of days of history (default=20days), in IE, click Tools/Internet Options/General and modify the number of days.
