Troubleshooting static IP address page not displaying in Windows Deployment Wizard

You want to use MDT 2010 to deploy Windows 7 and specify a static IP address for each target computer during deployment, but when you run the Windows Deployment Wizard on a target computer the wizard page that enables you to configure a static IP address is not displayed—why?

You want to use MDT 2010 to deploy Windows 7 and specify a static IP address for each target computer during deployment, but when you run the Windows Deployment Wizard on a target computer the wizard page that enables you to configure a static IP address is not displayed—why?

Check your CustomSettings.ini file. If you find this line:

SkipBDDWelcome=YES

then change it to this:

SkipBDDWelcome=NO
