Troubleshooting Universal Group Caching

A tip on how to troubleshoot universal group caching if it doesn't seem to be working properly.

If you experience problems with universal group caching you can enable error logging for this feature by configuring the following registry value:

 

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NTDS\Diagnostics\20 Group Caching

 

Set this value to 5 to have full diagnostic information written to the Directory Service event log.
