System Scanner for Windows

Microsoft ships System Scanner for Windows from ISS (Internet Security Systems ) as part of the Windows 2000 Server Resource Kit. System Scanner is a security-assessment solution for Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, Microsoft Windows 95, and Microsoft Windows 98. It includes 300 vulnerability checks. System Scanner is not installed during Windows 2000 Resource Kit installation. To install:
  • Place the Windows 2000 Resource Kit companion CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive
  • Click Explore the CD.
  • Double-click Sysscansetup.exe . Its found in the \Apps\Systemscanner folder.
