The ADSI Edit, ADSIEDIT.msc, is part of the Windows 2000 Support Utilities available on the Windows 2000 Server CD in the \SUPPORT\TOOLS folder. This MMC snap-in is used to view all objects in the directory (including schema and configuration information), modify objects and set access control lists on objects. There is no more dangerous tool. You can use it to manually edit or modify the schema. As you should know, if the schema gets corrupted, your Active Directory is dead.
