How To Compress using Command Line tool?

This article explains how you can use Compress.exe, a command line tool, to compress files on Windows Computers.

You can use a tool called Compress.exe which is available with Microsoft's Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit to compress files on your computers. The uses of this tool are explained below:

To Compress a file:

Compress.exe C:\Test\Test.exe C:\CompressedFiles\Test.exe

There are more parameters available with Compress.exe. Use Compress.exe /? to get more information.
