Windows 98 Update Download

When using the "Windows Update" in your
Start-menu, you are guided to Microsoft
Webpages to select upgrades, which are
downloaded and then immediately installed,
no option to install a downloaded update
on another Windows98 system.



For just downloading Windows98 updates without immediate installation,
Microsoft is offering an additional page:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows98/downloads/corporate.asp:




You will like to download the "System Upgrade", so we click on the link:


When scrolling down, we find the list of "bug fixes":

This problem of systems not showing up in the Network Neighborhood
is one of the most common problems discussed in the newsgroup.

To install the update, just run the WUCSP.EXE-file:
