Windows 2000 did NOT detect my Parallel-port ZIP-drive.
It was required for the Printer port to "Enable
legacy Plug and Play detection":
I could have added a Registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Parallel\Parameters
name: ParEnableLegacyZip as DWORD_Value of 1:
