Searching on Microsoft's Website

Microsoft offers on their website www.microsoft.com a huge amount of information,
especially the articles in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
The challenge is to find what you need, using the Microsoft Search, which can be
selected from the top-toolbar on the Microsoft Website:

That brings you to http://support.microsoft.com/default.asp :

Enter your Search phrase or keywords: if you need help on an error message, type in the
EXACT message, otherwise some keywords.
Select then, whether to search for the Exact phrase or just the words, all or any.
Then (most important), when searching for Software support, select the
"Support & the Knowledge Base" (the default selection "All of microsoft.com does NOT include the most valuable articles in the Knowledge base). Then select "Search Now !"

And most the time, you get a selection of answers:

Have a first quick look at the extracts, then check out the displayed links, whether they apply to your problem and fix it (and the keywords used above: "netware compatible shell" did result
to links solving this specific problem:
Netware Compatible shell is not available)
