Zoho's Document Management online system has a new user interface! The new UI is more user friendly designed on simple and intuitive concepts that gives users improved navigation on tasks that they do on regular basis. Zoho's Online Document Management is a central document Cloud store that gives users the capability to store and share files securely, and access them anywhere anytime. Briefly, it consists of an online file storage including security features and folder/workspace management, an online chat and collaboration feature, and an administrative console that allows the administrator to have control over the user accounts. In addition it integrates Zoho's Writer, Sheet and Show which makes it easy to create, view and edit word documents, spreadsheets and slideshows without having to flip between the browsers tabs, and lets you preview documents in tabs within the page.
Print Services in Windows Server 2008 allows you to share printers on a network and consolidate print server and network printer management tasks by using the Print Management console. The Print Service role in Windows Server 2008 includes Server Manager and Print Management. To install the Print Services server role with the Print Server and Internet Printing role services follow these steps: In Server Manager, right click Roles and select Add Roles, this will load the Add Roles Wizard. On the Before You Begin page, click Next. On the Server Roles page, select the Print Services check box and click Next. On the Print Services page, click Next. On the Select Role Services page, select the Print Server and Internet Printing check boxes, and click Next. If IIS is not installed, in the Add Roles wizard dialog box, click Add Required Role Services. On the Select Role Services page, click Next. On the web Server (IIS) page, click Next. On the Select Role Services page, you're prompted to select the role services you want to install to support IIS. Click Next to accept the default settings. On the Confirmation page, click Install. On the Results page, click Close.
Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7 include tools that help you manage printers from the command prompt using Visual Basic scripts. You can find these scripts in the Windows\System32\Printing_Admin_Scripts\en-US\ folder. Since these tools are Visual Basic scripts you need to run the cscript command and pass the full path to the script file as the first parameter. Additional parameters can be added after the script. For example, to list all options of the PrnCnfg.vbs script at the command prompt type: Cscript C:\Users\george7>cscript c:\windows\system32\Printing_Admin_Scripts\en-US\prncnfg.vbs -? The scripts available are: PrnMngr.vbs – Allows you to add and remove printers. PrnCnfg.vbs – Allows you to configure printers such as, changing printer names and permissions. PrnDrvr.vbs – Allows you to add, remove or list printer drivers where you can add a driver to make it available for automatic installation by users. PrnJobs.vbs – Allows you to manage print jobs where you can cancel documents in the print queue. PrnPort.vbs – Allows you to manage printer ports such as, creating ports for network printers. PrnQctl.vbs – Allows you to print a test page, pause and resume a printer. PubPrn.vbs – Allows you to publish a printer in Active Directory.

In a previous blog post we have seen how to export print queues and printer settings to a file – Migrating Printers in Windows server 2008. Now, let's see how to import print queues and printer settings from the file created by the export procedure. Follow these steps: In Server Manager, right click Print Management and then choose Migrate Printers – the printer migration wizard appears. On the Getting Started With Printer Migration page, select Import printer queues and printer drivers from a file, and then click Next. On the Select The File Location page, type in the name of the exported file, and click Next. On the Review The List Of Items To Be Imported page, click Next. On the Select A Print Server page, select a server, and then click Next. On the Select import options page, click the Import mode drop-down list to choose whether to keep or overwrite existing printers. Also choose whether to list the imported printers in the Active directory if relevant to your environment, and finally click Next. On the final page, click Open event viewer to review any errors that might have occurred during the import process. Then, click Finish. Alternatively, you can double click the exported file from the export procedure (filename.printerexport) and follow the prompts that appear. Using the command line to export and import printers requires you to use the printbrm command. This may become very handy in administrative scripts or applications. The command is located in the Windows\System32\spool\tools folder. To export printers to a file, from an elevated command prompt type: printbrm –b –f name.printerexport To import printers from a file created in the previous step, type: Printbrm –r –f name.printerexport
