Tom and his wife, Deb Shinder, founded a successful company, TACteam, and authored numerous books, articles, white papers, marketing and product documentation for major software and hardware companies. He led ISAServer.org and became known as one of the world’s top experts in Microsoft’s firewall technology. In 2009, Tom joined Microsoft as a full-time Knowledge Engineer and currently works in the Server and Cloud Division on the Information Experience (iX) Solution team, focusing on private cloud and cloud infrastructure.
