Windows 2000 Modem Verification

Due to its Plug-and-Play capability, Windows 2000 should automatically detect your modem,
so let me just verify that it has been properly identified:

Check #1:

In the Control-Panel, use the
"Phone and Modem" applet.
Select the tab: Modems
to view the list of installed modems.
Check #2:

In the Control-panel, use the
"System" applet (or right-click on
your desktop on "My Computer" and
select "Properties"),
then on the tab:"Hardware",
use the "Device Manager".

Click on the '+' to display the list
of installed Modems, then right-click
on your modem and select "Properties"

We are ready to define a Connection.
